Jimi Hendrix Tribute Weekend | 17 t/m 20 september
Van 17 t/m 20 september 2026 staat De Waag volledig in het teken van Jimi Hendrix. Vier dagen lang brengen we een eerbetoon aan één van de meest invloedrijke gitaristen uit de muziekgeschiedenis, met live muziek, jamsessies, een documentaire en op zondag een speciale vinyl pop-up.
Gedurende het hele weekend is er in het restaurant op de bovenverdieping doorlopend een documentaire over Jimi Hendrix te zien.
Open jamsessies
Zelf zin om muziek te maken? Tijdens het tribute weekend organiseren we open jamsessies in de Cuyperzaal, helemaal boven in De Waag. Muzikanten kunnen binnenlopen, naar boven gaan en aansluiten bij de jamsessies.
Zondag 20 september – Vinyl pop-up van Het Platen Manneke
Op zondag 20 september is ook Het Platen Manneke aanwezig met een speciale pop-up bij De Waag. Hier worden platen tentoongesteld en verkocht. Over de exacte invulling en tijden volgt binnenkort meer informatie.

Donderdag 17 september – Rat House
Speciaal voor het Jimi Hendrix Tribute Weekend komt Rat House helemaal vanuit Duitsland naar Delft.

Zondag 20 september – Midnite Gypsies
We sluiten het weekend af met een live-optreden van Midnite Gypsies.

In addition, we believe it’s important to be involved in what’s happening in the city. That’s why, in connection with the opening, we’re partnering with Swim & Spin to Fight Cancer Delft. In our own way, we want to contribute to something bigger than ourselves.
