We are proud to reopen the doors of De Waag on April 16, 2026. A place that feels like a familiar fixture on Delft’s Markt to many is gaining new energy—while retaining everything that makes it so special.
De Waag has always been a place where people come together. For a cup of coffee, a good dinner, or simply to enjoy the city’s atmosphere. With the reopening, we’re building on that feeling while giving it a contemporary twist. A richer experience, a greater focus on quality, and above all: a place where you feel welcome.

We also look beyond just food and drink. With live music on Sunday afternoons, we want to make De Waag a lively meeting place once again—a place where there’s always something happening and where you’ll love to come back.
In addition, we believe it’s important to be involved in what’s happening in the city. That’s why, in connection with the opening, we’re partnering with Swim & Spin to Fight Cancer Delft. In our own way, we want to contribute to something bigger than ourselves.
